Slow Down: Nature Never Rushes.
Yet Everything Gets Done.
I have been trying to talk to butteflies,
But, I don’t think I understand their language.
I thought I could teach them a bit of my mother tongue, then I realized it seems as though they might only understand English.
My friend recommended I pay a visit to a lepidopterist, if I am really captivated in learning what butterflies are interested in, a lepidopterist he said, that’s what they call a person who studies butterflies and moths. You can’t imagine how many web searches I've made looking for a nearby lepidopterist.
I will remain hopeful, so, I wait.
It’s also gives me enough time to start practicing how to pronounce “lepidopterist” because prominent institutions and field areas have been recommended in my searches. We also have a reading session at a community library this month. Together with other volunteers, I want to tell children about butterflies and this special person who takes care of them.
At the start of the year, a very special person to Pause Conservations gave us an opportunity to enroll for a photography and videography course at Artflied Institute Of Design so that we can continue giving a voice to biodiversity populations within the Lake Victoria Basin.
When I took these photos I hoped I would be able to show butterflies how beautiful they are but I still haven’t learnt their language.

In Chali’s Adventures on Lake Victoria,
A special group of butterflies is tasked with the responsibility of telling all the animals on the islands of Lake Victoria about the female parrot’s missing eggs. Flying from one petal to the next, the butterflies whisper the pain of the parrot flock into the ears of the other animals and plants across the forest.
After our reading session at a community library.
I hope I will have learnt more on how I can show these butterflies how beautiful they are. Because I will not be alone, other families, young adults youth and fellow volunteers want to join us for the Kids Eco-Fun & Environmental Movie Day.
Maybe you can gift a ticket here to lighten the burden on our end: but its a free event.
Becoming a climate education partner: Bring the sweetness to school classrooms through stories.

Aren't butterflies amazing! I always stop and watch them flutter by when I see them. I also call upon them when the Universe needs to send me a message. Butterflies (Blue Morphs!) and Hawks.
Yup, need to slow down for sure
